Recently we were asked to assist with a grievance taken out by an employee against their manager and the manager had simultaneously brought a grievance against her own manager! This was for a London based hospital. It required very sensitive handling. Two of our most experienced HR consultants dealt with both grievances and conducted two separate investigations. After the investigation had concluded, comprehensive reports were produced and recommendations were made, which went to the Director of the department.
